How to communicate on com through your board

Hook up the Beltpack Breakout Box to the 4 pin headset out on your com beltpack. Route the XLR output to a mixer microphone input. It will be a line level signal, so you may need to use an audio pad. Route that mic input to your headphone mix, or use the board PFL/Solo function to listen as needed.

For talking on com, route your mic of choice to an aux send, and into the BBB. Either lock the beltpack mic on and use your board to control the mic, or just use the talk button on the beltpack as normal.

The beltpack breakout box lets you utilize the beltpack's sidetone adjust to minimize headphone signal getting into the mic & causing a feedback loop. People have used the combo interface, you just have to be careful to not create a feedback loop, as what you plug into the combo input shows up at the output.
