Hear com using an in ear monitor, ear bud or headphones
Not for connection to a powered device (it's not an interface), as this might cause a ground loop. Use the Beltpack Breakout Box instead
Talk on com using any DYNAMIC mic (no condensor mics)
1/4" & 1/8" (3.5mm) versions [Not TRRS, so you can't use the mic on phone ear buds]

Designed for for standard com headsets with a dynamic headset microphone & 4 pin female XLR (will not work with condensor mic headsets)

FAQ:
Shure still makes the SM11 dynamic lavalier mic or just use an SM58
4 pin connector plugs into the beltpack output
Transformer balanced XLR mic input lets you feed your own dynamic mic (no condensor mics) into the beltpack mic input
Not intended for interconnection to other ac powered devices. You will likely create a ground loop. Use the BBB which has isolation transformers to avoid hum & buzz issues.
Case dimensions are: 3 5/8" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4"
